Engine kode B with great torque

I am looking for teknical info on engines With engine code B, they seem to have much better torque than standard engine.

What is the differense, cam, lifters, valves, intake, carburettor ???

it is originally from 68-70 bus T2. i like it too, i prefer it to a double port at least on buses but it is good also on beetles if the have 8/31 trans. install it with a good street cam and preferably a 31 pict or a brosol 30/31 and enjoy
