i have a 59 bus which is currently blue. last night i decided to rub it down to find previous paint jobs. the next layer was green, which i believe from the mcode tag was it's original colour, but under that there is a layer of red. would this be the undercoat? it is quite a bright red, leaning towards orange.

I've only seen grey primer underneath with areas of lower color and over-spray.
