I received information and pictures of some that are being cooked up as we speak. DVD....aka David Fuentes is in the process making them. I have not seen the UK one's? But from what I heard.....they are for the earlier ones and are not identical? But I have not seen them? Do what JF recommended, check out their site. But the ones I received pictures of look really good.

Ask Linda, he will give his 2 cents on this.

The KK ones are simply hand-cut to an original pattern from a sheet of (narrow) ribbed rubber. I'm happy to use one in my bus (as it fits and it covers the cab floor!) but longer term I'm looking out for a repro mat that is a better copy of an original..........like the sort of thing DVD seems to be doing! Very Happy

I think they just sell the earlier style 50-52 (?) that are a thin ribbed rubber. Hit up your local hardware store for that stuff,. It's about $5 of material.

A correct 54-55 one would be nice but I would only buy parts from DVD in person. Several people have complained about losing contact with him over the purchase of Safari Window sets.

John Lemke, a guy here on the samba, just started making repro Karmann Ghia mats which are just great. He might make up some barndoor mats if you have an original to use as a pattern for the mold.

Everett- That is VERY true. I've heard about several people who've had problems collecting their parts from him, too. Michael "The Molestor" and Money Mike have both had problems collecting their goods. I heard that somebody still hasn't collected their 1952 Standard after nearly 2 YEARS after full payment. Right Mike???
