full circle on the back side . so originaly for split windows . some tools included didnt even belong ( ditched those ) 4 maybe 5 are time period correct ....some are the wrong time period period tools here i added , they have later factory stampings .... but there all Hazet and looks pretty good for now wile i hunt down the proper ones ...... i just gave the paint a little wax job .
ive only had it a couple hours now  purchased here off the Samba classifieds !!! he delivered for a cash on the spot sale !!!

The hubcap clips are the same for 16" and many 15" and 14" rims, so the kits are interchangeable with whatever wide 5 wheel that has hubcap clips. It will clip right onto a rim from a 1974 thing.
People just call them 16" kits because they are early. calling it a full circle kit or an early kit would be more accurate. Of course your kit is the early version of the full circle kit.
Congrats on getting the kit. It looks nice.

Ok Thanks for explaining that i didnt know . thinking back , ya my regular old hubcaps fit 15 or 16 inch wheels both . i have a 51 split bug here , thats what i got it for . never tried to mount the split ring style on the 16 wheel , silly me . it will be more correct with this one i learned something here !!!
now to try n find a few proper " angem " marked tools .

| There also is not a screw driver in a split tool kit or on the decal. |

this is my go-to for Hazet VW hubcap kit info . its not a know all Hazet tool site its just for these VW hubcap kits .
looks like maybe some split era full circle kits got the stubby . the earliest ones did not and that is what i got .
tons of good info here , when you get to the site click on the ones in colored text and it takes you to photos of that particular one .

i have actually talked to Mark Weiner kinda often , , and communicated with Toby Downing a few times . helping me get the right parts for my kits .
the first kit i bought the seller said it was original tools . found out the hard way nothing in that kit was period correct and mostly junk ...... so i go to this website often now days
i know quite a few parts are not period here on mine , yet , im just STOKED n sharing my excitement with other caught up " Hazed " in the Hazet love/addiction , like myself .
this is my 6th kit now |
