I purchased a 74 Thing that came with a boot for the top. I am trying to identify the boot mfg. and figure out how the inside (the car) boot cover is secured to the top frame/car.

Per the attached picture there are two oblong grommets on the front side flap with two nylon straps, each with a plastic snap connector (female and female). I am assuming that these grommets and snap connectors are used for strapping down the boot flap up and under the top frame or to the body. But, I do not have the nylon strap that connects to the snap connectors - assuming that there is one.

Can anyone shed some light about the boot mfg and how the inside flap is secured?
