I need another body measurement not shown on the repair diagram. Can someone tell me the width from side to side at the bottom of the A pillars.
I braced A to B before I started my heater channel repair but it looks like the drivers side A is kicked in. I've replaced both front heat tube sections, the passenger heat channel bottom and the bottom of the drivers A pillar. I bolted on temporary braces to hold the bottom of the heat channels at the widths shown on the body diagram between the front and rear body mounting bolts and the fit at the A pillar is terrible. Before I start bending the pillar to fit, I'd like to confirm the location. |

Be sure to measure also the distance of the bolt holes from L to R. I have seen cars / bodies where nobody did pay attention to it and later on the body did not fit the pan anymore. Especially if only patch work was done. |

Thanks! I discovered the problem by making those measurements between the mounting holes. Much easier to adjust now than when the body goes back on the pan. |
