Ok guys. Just needed some input here with my project. I already shot all 4 fenders, trunk and deck lid with epoxy and followed by high build. They all came out nice. So now my attention is on the body. I have completed all the metal work last summer and just sprayed some rattle can primer for some simple protection. So now I’m sanding all that off with 80 grit and I’m also trying to get down to the original savanna beige. The car was painted an off white color at some point and some areas the respray off white paint is hard to get off. So my question is, is it ok to just leave it in those places it don’t come off? It must be on there good. I’m really going at it with my DA and 80 grit. Not making a show car , just a driver. I will be spraying bc/cc ppg Thanks guys. Again I would just like to know if I can epoxy and high build over everything

| Feel around the edges of the white paint and make sure it is smooth and not feel like it has an edge to it. If all good and doesn't have a flaking type edge shoot it all with the epoxy primer. That will act as a sealer. Then do your high build and go from there. |
