I have a euro 57 oval and the doors are all rusted out, I cant find any 57 doors locally but I did find some out of a 62, other than the different door handle will they fit, are there any changes to the door frame that will not allow them to fit. any info would be greatly appreciated!!

They will fit but I think you need the striker in the door jam too. Some year in the late '50's there was a subtle latch and striker change. You can use the older door handles with the newer doors, of course it leaves a hole at front of the handle to fix. The door stops in the front door jam are completely different, but they still connect to the tab on the body. _________________

Yes, the 1962 doors will fit, on your 1957 oval - you can even use the 1962 push button outside handles. Although won't look stock, as the push buttons started in 1960.
I have used 1962 doors on the 1957 oval and switched-out to the 1957 outer door handles... yes, they will function, just fine, but when later ice-picks are used, there will be a mounting hole, not utilized, on the '62 door - that is of no consequence - I just put a piece of tape over the little-hole and paint the tape, the body color - i'll be hardly noticeable .
No problems with the striker on the body as they are pretty much the same - the 1962 doors will work just fine with the 1957 strikers... they are really the same strikers.
I know, all this info was covered above, although many DETAILS were not covered...
Wish I had your rusted doors - they sound pretty ratty - Ain't nothing like a part that looks it's age, but most want their cars to be all pretty and new-looking, for some strange reason …. a Euro, with semaphores, nice small bumper guards and a 120 km speedo is sweet - enjoy it. _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD

Wow thank you very much for the info, will jump on those 62 doors and cover the hole for the later door handles, my old doors are trashed not even good patina, plus at one point they were converted to one piece glass so definitely didn’t look right the 62’s are complete with the vent windows and not rust, thank you again guys!!!

If you are building up the car from parts, I would definitely weld up the extra door handle holes rather than use tape. Now is your chance before you paint it.

I kind of am, it was my daily driver when I was in Germany but the salt just killed the underbody so I am essentially doing a restoration, so now that it needs paint I am going to replace the doors and add a ragtop clip to it, but have to get the doors secured first then bracing them, once that is done then I am going to pull the body and fix the heater channels and the pans, and eventually paint it the original green color
