85 westy A/C schrader valves

Had a leaking A/C schrader valve I removed them and got new ones but they don't seem to fit. Do I have a problem or are they different sizes.

Did they come out intact? Can you describe the fit problem? They are not unique for that era.

Are you just replacing the valve core? The part number I used is MT0064-1:

One came out intact the other only half me and a buddy got the other half out... it seems the valve core are a tiny bit thinner than common new cores i may be wrong. I'll check that part number out.
