Hi all... so the nose of my 1967 D-cab was replaced, but I think my window openings lost some height in the process. I went to install my safaris and they do not fit in the Hole. Does anybody have measurements of an unmolested opening

61 views as I've looked at this twice.
Can't help much as my 66 microbus with known lower windshield rust repair back in the 80's still has its fixed windows in place. But I did measure the center post between the windshields from the roof to the point where the windshield frame area meets the joint at the top of the nose, and its right at 477mm or 18-25/32".
Perhaps another question could be directed to the manufacturer/vendor to measure another set of safari windows on their shelf and compare to what you have?
Did you formerly have fixed windshields fitted to your bus since the nose work? |
