Changed over to run on propane, 1300 motor
With 6 volt system with automatic transmission.
It runs and is usable but is a project. It's
a 2000 lb lift has very tight turning radius and

Hmmmm, I wonder if the wheel is splined (Beetle style) or keyed (Barndoor Bus).

Just posted a question about VW powered forklifts in another thread and then found this one.

I have a friend who acquired the same forklift as the one in the CL ad.

It is yellow. The air cleaner and seat are missing.

Looking to find some service information so I can service the hydraulic system.

Maybe I can contact some local place, but this thing is old AND German made.

The Germans do like to be specific with fluids. Just don't want to take a chance with it.
