Need a sanity check. In process of installing new rear wheel bearings on my 1984 Vanagon. Forgot to check prior to pressing the old ones out but what “direction” should the bearings be installed? Should the lettering on the bearings be facing outward or inward? Thanks in advance!

Generally as a rule, lettering faces out on most bearings. These are asymmetric meaning I don’t think there is an in or out.

You mean they are symmetrical? This way there`s no distinction in or out Wink
