what do you think is the best brand new engine for a 1960 bus for under $3000? I am not to worryied about stock stuff right now.I just want to drive my bus. Thanks!! |

are you a "stock guy" or a "custom guy"?this is an important detail in giving you advise.if your into stock motors you can buy a "new turnkey" 1600cc for around $1800.if your like me and like to go up hills faster than a snails pace and have a deep routed paranioa of getting rear ended while merging into the freeway then i would recomend a 1776cc like i have.the perfect balance of speed and reliability.both of these are well undert $3000.another question is are you going to do the instalation?if not then factor in $$$ for that as well.lol...........Louis _________________ my rides:

oops if you would like a place to call for a motor i would recomend Bap,haven't dealt with them personally but have heard good things.not sure of your question was about size or a supplier.......  _________________ my rides:

thanks for the help. I will take a look at bap motors.I am not to freaked out about a stock motor, because I have the junky original at hand. |
