In need of a vacuum pump delete, i have already purchased the block off plate and i am in need of a good mechanic to install it. im having a hard time finding a shop to do it and i dont feel comfortable doing it myself.

i have 2013 jetta 2.5l auto, please give me some leads.

The vacuum pump for the brakes, right? Shops probably don't want to do the delete because it changes the braking system and they don't want to deal with the liability issues. For the brakes to work properly (or perhaps at all Shocked ), there would need to be an alternate vacuum source (more modifications). Is the old pump leaking? Here's a video that shows how to replace it:

It doesn't look super complicated. One of those "take your time and plenty of photos" tasks. Time consuming, but manageable.

thanks for the reply yes i was planning on using that guide and for the brake booster vacuum line i was going to tap into the n80 valve purge line as recommended in le0n guide on vwownersclub
