Will a pair of 15x6.5 in replica BRM wheels fit on the back of a 67' beetle with no modifications?

I'm not too sure, I have 195/65/15 (I think they are 15x5.5) on there right now. Can I go any bigger? What size tires would I use with the 15x6.5?

gw, if it's any help, I'm running 215/55/16's on 7.5" rims. Believe it or not, they don't foul the arches at all. I've got a '74, btw.

Depends what type of offset the wheels have. And if the car is lowered any. If you want to be able to stuff more tire under the rear switch from long axles to short axles.

My buddy just put 6.5 BRM's on his 64, they are sweet, I'm sure they will be fine on a 67

Any luck with a tire size? Thinking about doing the same thing. My rear is lowered with drop plates

I didn't realize they made wider BRM's. I'm running 5.5's with 185/65/15 tires and while they don't rub, it's close.
