Just saw on Ebay a '52 split. Does anybody think it is worthy looking. Located in Michigan, looks pretty decent. Is there a trustworthy shipping co somebody has used out there to get it to Oregon? Reserve is at $1026 so far!! Very Happy

Cory,
No doubt...what a Newbie move!

ps...Keep in mind, restoring a split is crazy expensive, even if you get the car for cheap.

Good luck bro-

Erik

You might get that hunk for $1,000 but its missing probably over $25,000 worth of parts.

id get it but not restore it back to factory, id probably not worry about some of the parts if they looked correct and fit, but id put in a hipo motor and sell the old..but yes, still quite a bit of money/parts needed for that thing

maybe thats just a scare tactic, to make the guy think that the price will be that high, so he backs out early. i agree w/ you riz, 10 g's for that is way to much. aswell, it's like 2splitwindows said, it's missing a whole lot of expensive, hard to find parts.

it would make a cool drag racer tho. thats what i'd do to it.
