If you have the sort of levelling blocks that fit together like giant Lego, and the bag has worn through or the zip has broken (both things are inevitable) then here's a solution - Mrs fxr's idea.
Drill a 7/8" hole in the middle of each block, and use some 3/4" dowel on which to thread them. A thin end-plate and a clevis pin in a steel sleeve can hold them all together:

I don't use that style of blocks but that is a great solution.
Could you please ask the missus what I should do about the tattered old bags that my camp chairs and table fit into? Years of travelling in the overhead luggage tray exposed to UV and wind has pounded them into submission. _________________ '91 Westfalia GL Automatic (GTA "Turbo" Rebuild w/Peloquin) and 2.3L GoWesty Engine |

That stupid bag is precisely why I ditched the Lynx Levelers and bought a set of Camco's, which your improvement more or less copies (which is a compliment ):
The nylon Lynx bag was annoying as heck to deal with even in like-new condition. _________________ ~Kamz
