Help me out here - looking to replace carpet in my 91 (grayish). What's the most practical option out there? I've read so many posts here on this topic I've become overloaded with data and I'm now dithering....

I've been on the fence for a few years. The best looking carpet I've seen is a Newton from GB: fewer pieces, fewer seams. It'll be interesting if I ever get this done.
I'm not sure if this counts as practical though...

Nice man! Thanks for the lead, I may just see what shipping is across the pond. Did you go with the tufted or nylon carpet? _________________ 1991 Vanagon GL

If you find the shipping costs, please post it, I am interested in that carpet too.

Thanks for posting that! I'm 98% certain Ken's are the Newton product. I saw them there previously but couldn't find them when I was looking for a link for the tread. _________________ - Jim

This set looks like the ones that heritage sells in the UK. Not sure if they post abroad.
Here is a video about the set:

EDIT:
I have checked the heritage link in the video description and they are made by Newton. _________________ Zoltan

Haven't heard back from Newton, Vanagain has the premium version for around $600 shipped, vancafe the next step down for $495 + shipping. Think I'll order 2piece floor mat set for now.... _________________ 1991 Vanagon GL

I just got a quote back from Newton... £139 (approx $200 at current exchange rate) to ship to CA.
Basically $600 shipped for nylon, tufted would be more... |
