Hi all,
I've managed to get hold of a 412 south african variant, lovely motor just needs putting back together.
First on my list is door seals and trunk seals!
Does anyone have any idea where I get hold of or know of any other door seal that will fit a 412??
I'm based in the UK.
I've search high and low and can't find anything really.
Apparently type 3 seals fit but I'm not sure.
Any help much appreciated. |

Hello and Welcome.
Try Woolies of Peterborough, failing that, there will be plenty of opportunities at the Classic Car show at the NEC this autumn.
Obviously, if you find the correct profile, don’t forget to post it on here.

If you have any seals at all that are in decent shape you can soak them in Simple Green for a few days. It seems to rejuvenate the rubber. I have used this trick on my marginal rubber parts with success. Otherwise not sure where one gets these seals.
