I just purchased a 1961 Panel and would like a little help reading the m code plate. I understand it was built on January 19th 1961 and that the UY is the export destination of USA/Grand Rapids. What I don’t know is what the 360 is or the 211 before the word Blue. I assume the number in the lower right hand corner is a chassis number. Any further information would be welcomed.

Welcome, IceWagen1 Applause Applause Applause . Looking forward to when you can post more pictures and information about your new bus. As you start cleaning her up you can also post in the thread: What did you do for your Bus today?

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon.
