| I was driving down the highway and my bus started acting like it was running out of gas, but it did this for a mile or more, slowly losing power as a I went. Eventually it just died. Sat for a while and it started up and drove sluggishly for a quarter of a mile. Died again. If I sit for 10-15 minutes, it will start and run for a minute, and I can get it to move maybe 25 yards. Then it dies again. |

Definitely check your points as the wear blocks of the newer Bosch points will snap off without warning, leaving you with little or no gap.
With the tranny in neutral turn the crank for two complete revolutions by hand. Does the compression feel the same on all four cylinders.
The more info you can give us the better. For starters are you still running fuel injection? |

VW gas gauges lie. Be sure it isn't tricking you.

Well. Somewhat sheepishly, Ι offer the following update.
Gas seems to have solved the problem. |

That cheap gas from China never lasts. I only use OGas shipped from Germsny on German flagged tankers , Labelled Benzin _________________ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ πΊπΈ π π π |
