The steel receiver casting on the floor pan of my '57 beetle is missing one of the studs that holds the rubber/steel front transmission mount. I need to replace the missing stud.

Does anyone have a thread specification for this stud on the end that screws into the steel casting?

Thanks

M10 x 32mm

I couldn't find the right length stud at any of my local hardware stores but I did find one with threads longer on one side, so I cut the end short and cut new threads to shorten the bit in the middle.

Original on the left. It's not perfect length but it works well.
