Hey everyone today I have been trying to bleed my breaks and I have been following along to this video from jbugs (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qt3WQmv8SX0) When I pump the breaks and hold them and loosen the nut to release the break fluid through the bleeder valve it instead leaks out from the same area/tube that the nut was just loosened from instead of, again, coming out of the tube that is attached to the bleeder valve. Any help as to why this may be happening and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated and I will answer any questions because I doubt I described my problem with enough detail. Thanks in advance.

Hello, did you replace the bleeder valve recently or maybe tried replacing it?

I haven’t replaced nor tired to replace it anytime recently. I thought maybe it was something as simple as the valve being clogged but I still wouldn’t know how to unclog it.

It could be that the threads are just worn out, or its clogged. You can try cleaning it off, its a pretty easy fix, just unscrew it and inspect it. Degrease it, blow some air through it and check the threads. If its worn out or cant be fixed, its a pretty cheap fix, should cost somewhere around 2€ i think for a single piece.

Also, dont unscrew the valve too much when you air it out it doesn't require a lot, maybe 1/4-1/2 turn.
