|
|
Well, guys, I have a question besides my topic of the ABA going turbo and I don't know what the diagnosis could be but when I turn on the engine at beginning of the day it runs great with power, and on 2nd or 3rd gear on the uphills with no problems but when warmed up when going in uphill I have to lower the gear sometimes until 1st if its a killer uphill.
Also, oil pressure drops to 20 psi (or rare times at 10 psi) and the engine doesn't quite get that power.
I tried thicker oil but that didn't resolve it, I tried putting more oil to the max amount but nada no bueno. (Engine at 15 degrees)
Any thoughts of what can be happening?
Thanks in advance guys! _________________ Roger

O2 sensor shorting out? Coolant temp sensor failing?
Are you using an electric oil pressure gauge? Factory gauge? I would confirm that the oil gauge is working properly before I spent time trusting it. I would get a known good mechanical gauge and confirm if you got a problem first. |

I would need to run ross tech again to see if theres a problem with 02 sensor. Coolant temp sensor I have one electric instaled however I dont know if your question has to do with the conections to the ECU? Is this needed for the ECU?
Yes I am using an electric oil presure gauge from glowshift its pretty solid I definately trust it because when starting engine cold it has lots of PSI lets say at least 60-80 PSI and when warms up it goes down to 20 and engine looses power _________________ Roger
