The 'Express' barndoor 23 came out of Texas in the '80's. That cargo door was the only readable logo's if I remember. I will have to dig deep for photos of it, had plenty of rust. _________________ ---

| Yeah Rich, same thing. A bunch of these are still around. I have a pair. These came from some midget, I don't like dropping names. Lots of BD's which are restored have these. These doors were used on later models down in Brasil. Crazy huh! |

NOS, hard to find whatever country they came from?
& there doesn't look like a great deal of difference to me
what are the differences?
i understood it to be
1) different shaped hinge pin top
2) different shaped small bracing piece in the lower inside corner/s
3) can't remember. different colour primer? _________________ -StockRocks- |

i've got a line on a totaled out 82' Brazilian bus. the cargo doors are in good shape and according to this thread they can pass for BD if someone really needed them. would it be worth my time to buy the bus and part it out? the front end is smashed hard but the cargo doors are OK. _________________ Missouri Micros |

I actually have an NOS pair of brazillians on my bus now. I also have my original cargo doors that by todays standards are very restorable.

i looked at the brazilian bus yesterday and snapped a few pics. i was told by pm that the doors are different than barndoor door and i was told they're the same so im confused now. i need an answer fast becasue this guy is going to scrap the bus next week and i dont want to waste my money if they cant be used.
the bus is a 82 bay front split back model. see pics below
i was told that barndoor doors dont have the inner support as shown above but the inner latch looks the same as barndoor _________________ Missouri Micros |
