I'm looking to buy complete wire harness for my 1967 Beetle and noticed that JBugs has it for $600+ and West Coast has it for $300+.... Does anyone know what the difference might be between harnesses? Is there a place that has a better complete kit than the others? Thanks

The $600 Jbugs one is ll aftermarket. Replaces the fuse box, you run ll of the wires, etc. The other one is stock replacement. Wires re the original colors, in the tubing, so you cn just run it as factory and hook it up.

I bought a harness from Wolfsburg West for a 66 and was very pleased with quality, easy enough installation and very good instructions. Here is one for a 67.

About ten years ago a VW dealer parts dept found me a NOS harness ink California . You might try to find a friendly dealer first. The after market ones have come a long way.
