Leaky faucet from the spout when on so read in here about replacing the washers. I don’t think this has ever been apart before so things are very tight. How do you get the brass piece off to replace the washers? Looks like 2 little fasteners there in the middle but they’re round and want some input before I break something. Thanks!

Looks like a riveted over stud cast into the upper section, you can get apart by drilling them or grinding off the heads, but you'll have to drill and tap for machine screws to get it back on.

Tried picking the washers out of their grooves in place?

Haven’t tried picking the washers. They seem to be sandwiched between the brass piece at the main body. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something simple. I may end up drilling as you suggest. Thanks.

When you say “leaking from the spout”… at the base where the spout goes do you mean? The spout itself is held in by an o-ring to the base. Grab firm and pull up. The spout comes out and the oring is on the spout. Try a new oring.

Had the same problem, yes just carefully pull the spout out, it’s tight so be careful. Had trouble finding the correct size O ring. My local ACE hardware has a vast selection but couldn’t find the correct one. Ended up using one off a spare Westy faucet in my stach.

Yes. The leak was up and out of the base of the spigot. It was a bear to get off but now I can look around for a similar o-ring. Thanks for the help!

Good luck finding the correct O ring but if you do be sure to use plumbers grease and GENTLEY tap the spout back in. I did and it works fine with no more leaks.

Thanks for the info. Going to try to tackle mine this evening. Any leads on where to get the washers. Both to seal the spigot and handle shaft as well as the valve seal inside the city water valve?

While I've got it apart, here's a photo of the disassembled unit. Hopefully, it'll help someone else in the same predicament.

Wondering if anyone has come up with a source on the faucet neck rubber washer? Or others too.
Thanks!
