The power steering reservoir bracket on my 87 is welded to the rear frame rail. Was this a change to 87 and newer?

It appears the bracket is the same as the pre 87, it has just been tack welded to the frame rail.

They relocated slightly the bracket on 2.1L (1986) and welded it. It's the same bracket as a 1.9 which is bolted.
