most likely a mixture of exuberant driving, poor road surfaces (especially wet cobbles), a lack of lighting and in the early post war cars sub-standard parts.

That bus rocks !
Standard sunroof, single color paint, dual mirrors, Behr, fog lights, radio, roof rack, rear luggage compartment, taxi/ambulance cab glass divider option...totally pimped out !

Yes. descending driver mirror arm, no rear bumper, late pivot quarter lights…could probably narrow the build date to a few months. Roller blinds on the cargo door windows too.
