Whether she does or not, those shoes look wholly inappropriate, and would seem to have an existing postural problem already!

a prototype or forerunner, yes. the type 62 from 1938/39. there's a rear view of it on page 2 of this thread. it used larger 18" wheels to give it more ground clearance but testing showed that smaller wheels and reduction gearboxes were a better solution that also enabled it to match the marching speed of troops.

Besides the 1939 Type 62, the Schwimmwagen is also a prototype from 1941. Not well visible in his photo, but it is based on a full-length wheelbase. Both cars are the real deal and reside in the Grundmann collection, Germany.

yes, the schwimmer is a type 128 and is #19 of the 30 that were made.

don't know any history other than they say it's a 43. it's in norway with a military vehicle collector/restorer

don't know martin, can't find a photo with sidewall detail...bit like the deka style but with ss pattern
