A must-have for the collector (and I have met a few) whose mantra is "I've got one and you don't". |

Hormiga means ant in Spanish
Interesting name for a truck.
Maybe it can carry ten times its weight ? |

"It has a 1600cc air cooled [B]eetle engine mounted up front making this the first front wheel drive VW."
A) The Hormiga in the ad is a 1977.
B) Production of this vehicle was 1976 to 1978.
C) Volkswagen's first front wheel drive vehicle was the K70, sold from 1970 to 1975. _________________ ~Kamz

VW likely took idea for Hormiga from the 1949-1951 Tempo Matador truck...
