Most likely it is a mechanical advance only since I do not see a vacuum. Do you have any more details of the distributor you can share such as model number? _________________ www.vwnos.com [email protected]

It's a Bosch 009 clone with a Hot Spark module.

Hmm... the engine is running pretty good, decent acceleration, no stuttering or dead spots.
I'm going to combine this thread with another that I just started and will hopefully come up with a carb solution.
