Hi all!
I have been working on a small passion project this year and wanted to get some of your thoughts on these coffee mugs I have created. They are not specific to a certain year cylinder but are inspired by the overall design of cylinders used by these cars.
The outer casting is MIM injection lightweight Aluminum and the inner cup is double-walled stainless. The handle is also Aluminum that has been powder-coated black. These are early prototypes and the molds still need some adjustments but we are getting there.
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I work on wrapping up this project. Thanks.

Note: the bottom image is missing its inner cup, unlike the top.

Only issue is they will stay wet after washing.

When I clean and wash cylinders I have have to use a air compressor to dry them

The center cup is pressed in and is stainless steel. The outside is a food-grade level aluminum. When we get the samples in, I will have the ability to test this but it was one of the requirements we gave the manufacturer before starting the mold. all the materials should be just fine for washing.

I should note that it is hard to tell in the photo but the cylinder is scaled down by a lot. The mug is 12oz.

If it's for coffee or some other hot drink the cooling fins will do just that.
