OK, I don’t have 914 questions, but I do have questions about my 914, and I hate to start a thread for each one so hopefully someone will read this and help me get my car back on the road.

First question, I have a weber progressive carburetor. Under pressure from my electric fuel pump. It leaks. I think that I have isolated the leak to the choke pull off, or maybe the choke pull off cover. Apparently a new choke pull off is pretty cheap and it looks easier to replace than doing a whole rebuild. Is that a plausible place for the weber carburetor to leak under fuel pressure? Thanks in advance for any help.

as long as you have three lbs of pressure and your needle valve is not sticking the carb should not leak
