I bought the SewFine headliner kit, supposed to be the deluxe version of a stock type material. I just asked for the kit their installers like the best. Been my observation that the people that work with this stuff have a favorite for a reason. Hope to have it installed in the next couple weeks, so glass can go in. Likely going to have a local guy make an interior for me, mostly stock looking but nice execution.
The overall goal for this car is a very nice cruiser/driver with some 2180cc grunt. I used to drag race a beetle in the early 90’s, so been very fun to work on a beetle again… testing my memory!! Looking forward to summer and driving this thing!! |
