It is fun to watch retro shows from our youth. You catch things as an adult you couldn’t as an inexperienced young.
I used to watch Golden Girls with my dad as a teenager. I thought it was funny.
Xatie started watching it last year. I got sucked in. The writing is amazing an the lack of modern PC was staggering. Great show. Underrated in my opinion.

GG had some of the best writing and talent ever assembled for TV.
Did you know Boss Hogg was a decorated veteran according to the show? _________________ Fat chick owner/operator |

Roadworthy Rescues. Makes me laugh, and they do some pretty cool cars.
Restoring Galveston. I love old Victorian houses. _________________ 61 Bus, 71 Bus, 76 Beetle, 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth, 47 Plymouth Business Coupe, 58 BMW Isetta 300 |

If you like roadworthy rescues, you really need to watch Vice Grip Garage on youtube. That is where Derek stared his career in front of a camera. Honestly, it is much better than the corporate version, they have writers and producers that have monetized/ruined much of the charm of his character. _________________ nothing |

Based on the "Leaphorn & Chee" novel series by Tony Hillerman and set in the 1970s, "Dark Winds" follows the FBI investigation of a bank robbery in Gallup, N.M., and the Navajo Tribal inquiry into the local murder of two Native residents. Lt. Joe Leaphorn, his new deputy Jim Chee, and Sgt. Bernadette Manuelito do the heavy lifting around the reservation, which is near Monument Valley. The strange behaviors of some of the residents and the newcomers intertwine with their personal stories as the two men battle the forces of evil and their own personal demons on the path to salvation.

I have a hard time with Dark Winds a little because I love the books so much I don't like it when they stray (or squash storylines together) too far afield. But it is well acted and I like it as a stand alone if you've never read the books. _________________ Xargaret
