They are getting ready to crush cars at the old VW Warehouse in Mt Top Pa, there are some older Ghias there FYI. Some may even have titles. Call Larry at 272 446 7495

I'm on it, ran up this morning for it. Don't want them to crush the car with that in there. Honestly guys they are sending cars to the crusher. yesterday the first bunch went out. I know for sure they plan on the convertibles to get the goose.

I’d grab anything interior that’s salvageable on the pre 68 cars.

Sad So Sad! I'd be grabbing all the door glass, windshields, and rear glass, since repro's seem to never quite fit right.

Who am I kidding, I'd be running around grabbing anything screaming WAIT!!!

Thanks for the photos and taking the initiative to view the cars in person, glassbuggy. Your interior shot has details to place the Ghia as a '65 (sun visors, dash pad, heater controls).

Did you end up buying anything for any VW of yours?

The location is a solid 2 hour drive from me. Despite the sadness of the cars' terminal fate, I have to acknowledge that I don't need anything for any of my VWs. And the body parts I'd need for my '70 Fastback are likely as rough or worse than I have now.

As a public service, post this in the Beetle forums... they're just as rabid about their rides!

Wish I could travel out there myself.
