Please help - adjustable beam guys

I have an adjustable beam (not narrowed) that I need to be adjusted high (I have a disc conversion that pushes the wheels closer to the fenders). I have the adjusters at the maximum height, and when I first put the car down it sits correctly, but the second I lean on the suspension it drops an additional inch which makes the tires contact the fenders. What would cause this?

Post photos of the spindles viewing from inside (several perspectives), the beam adjusters in the uppermost setting where you have them, and the exterior attitude of the car, maybe becore sitting on the fender and after.

Once the front end drops that additional 1" after weight is applied, does it remain that way, or does it come back up after weight is removed?

What type of adjusters does your beam use?

Are you hearing any type of squeaking/binding noises as the suspension moves up & down?

Are the link pins being regularly greased?

Are you running stock-size wheels/tires, or oversize tires on custom rims?

What kind of shocks...standard oil-filled, or KYB-type gas shocks? Are the shocks worn?

It does not come back up once weight is applied. No squeaking. New link pins and king pins, properly shimmery. Stock wide 5 wheels, slightly lower profile than Stock. Empi Stock replacement shocks that have about 500 miles on them

Sounds like it also has dropped spindles. Some beams come with the adjusters welded in so its lower than stock even at full up adjustment. The settling after you put the ground is normal suspension travel. If it rubs you need a different setup, either narrowed beam, smaller tires, unlowered spindles or adjusters clocked differently

Yes, it does have drop spindles. I figured I could fix it with lower profile tires, but I wasn't sure if there was something else I was missing.
