I bought a water cooled mexican bus and in tank fuel pump died
tank access is in rear trunk
Anyone out there know of how i should order this part?

Pull it and get a part number.

I once ran my Thing for months without a working fuel gauge assuming the sender was bad. When I finally took a look at it, all that was wrong was the wire had come loose from the sender, so don't assume the sender is bad before you actually test it and its wiring.

It would be very similar to the 'lift pump' used in many fuel injected VWs of the 80s-90. Just a simple volume pump that fed the higher-pressure Bosch FI main pump. Good for 2-2 3/4 psi. Enough to feed a carbed Mexican market bus.

As mentioned earlier, take the sender/lift pump assembly out to make sure it is a similar small pump /low pressure design though. (I assume your Mexi bus is carbed)
