I have 59 split window and when i bought the bus i noticed the rear wheels leaned inward. This happens when the body is lifted to make the stance look right or "level". I took off the horrible shocks/coil overs and the bus has all of the correct shocks, however, the rear of the bus is about 1.25 to 1.75 inches too low. It slants to the rear. I don't want to move the torsion bars "1" click down as fear of bottoming out.
The real question is why isn't the stance correct if the correct shocks are in and the torsion bars haven't been touched?. No reason i can find for it to be lower.
Also the front isn't higher. its about right for a bus of this vintage.
has anyone dealt with this before? When it was restored, is there chance the wrong torsion axles were installed? need some real help not to totaly screw up te geometry of the bus and back wheels. |

Can you post some pictures? How the bus is sitting, and post a picture of the backside of the rear wheels so we can see what axles you have. _________________ .
