Heya friends…had to redo my ol account here….so here we go…

Tire help. Really need tire help.

Old 70’s Manx Dunebuggy Kit….
Tires L60-15
This L60-15 Polyglas bias ply tire has the classic looks of RWL sidewall, with the low profile 60 series stance and extra wide tread profile. The L60-15 sizing was unique for the early 1970's.
CANNOT FIND AN EQUIVALENT!

My best research is that it’s a 305 55 15 ?

Rim 10 wide 15..old school VW steelie.

Closest I can find for affordable tires is a 295/55/15 but they won’t fit a 10 inch depth.
Would like to not spend $600 per tire.
Help. Advice. Comparable height and width wheel and tire packages….super appreciated.
Driving on 50yo tires is no longer conducive to my health. 👍
Appreciate you.
