The rheostat in the dimmer is inop, as well as the fog light function. How do I safely remove the headlight switch? I also have the rearview mirror “ sometimes
works, sometimes not” but I believe you carefully pry the switch assembly up to remove, and clean all. Thanks, Bob _________________ 1964 vert "Patience"

There is a spring loaded latch on the top of the switch body, which you must unlatch with a strip of steel slipped into the upper gap. Once it's unlatched, you pull the switch out.

Kourt, THANK YOU! I looked all over and didn’t find this! I am “lining up” my projects. Before I start on the dash and radio projects, got to remove and reinstall the interior cover on the sliding door. Someone had it off, and didn’t reinstall the plastic clips ( a couple fell off and I was lucky enough to find!) _________________ 1964 vert "Patience"
