Greetings peeps!
I have owned a lot of bugs and A bus, these 4-lug are on my squareback, I need all new brakes so I will be converting to wide-5, as that's what I've always had. I didn't think stock VW wheels were made in a 16" is this common? What are these style wheels called? Im not wheel pro by any means, I just see aftermarket kits saying this or that brake or spindle will only work with 15" or larger wheels, making me think most stock vw wheels are 14-15" These will clean up really nice, I'll be trading or selling them off soon, super good rubber too. Anyways.
Thanks all, happy Sunday, or Monday, or whatever day you read this.

Your wheels in the pic are 15’s. Just read the tire size. No ruler needed. Disc brakes don’t usually work with 13 or 14” aftermarket wheels for caliper clearance reasons. _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far

Thanks, yeah I saw the tire size which is what confused me, but I suppose wheels aren't always sized to the exact outer lip. Wanted to make sure what these were, thanks! _________________ Vintage problems require vintage excuses. |
