I am looking at a 1960 karmann ghia. Everything on dash is in German. Does this make the car more valuable or not. Just curious, thanks for any help.

What do you mean "everything on the dash"

The speedometer is in kph rather than mph?

The labeling isn't factory. It almost looks like some sort of Dymo labels. Overall the dash area looks pretty nice Cool

Anyone who needs to label the few switches on a Karmann Ghia obviously has a short-term memory problem...and before anyone asks, no I don't label mine. Smile

I seem to recall someone somewhere on here with those silly German 'comedy' type labels. Terms like 'Fritznsparken' 'lightsnblinken' are they something like that?

As an FYI Kevin at https://project-therapy.com/ makes the rings that are magnetic and fit over the dash knobs to tell you what each one does. I think they come in ivory and black. You can see them in my photos if you squint like i do most times
