Ghia- where does the seat return spring go?

Hi guys , can anyone show me where a seat return spring attaches to on the seat rails and where it also attaches to the seat?
I’ve got the spring in one of the holes in the tail at the moment , but it Dora’s not seem right as it’s getting caught up in the teeth of the licking plate.
I’m guessing it’s something simple! But just can’t figure it out?
Photo’s would be a big help then I can see instantly, what goes where

I would have thought it was the same set-up as on a beetle, but cannot find a decent photo.
