Blaupunkt Radio - Need drawing of the speaker grill

Hi All,

Recently I had bought a Blaupunkt radio for my 1951 split. the car had it originally on it but the previous
owner decided to remove it before I purchase the car, I managed to find another one but without the grill.

Any good soul is willing to help me re-create the grill ? it seems impossible to find just the grill. I am willing to pay someone to draw it out for me so I can 3d print it.

could you scan an image and use that as a basis for 3d printing...
you know the dimensions from the area it fits, this photo is taken more 'face-on'

Hello. I do not have this exact blaupunkt grill, but I do have one that might could be used to make the one you want possibly.

My guess is that I take this to a trophy shop or somewhere and get the grille copied?
I am interested in knowing what the one I have is and also interested in getting it restored or have a custom radio made that would use this faceplate.
The center circle and bars were not cut out. This grill looks like it was made this way originally.

I am wrong. I just looked closer and this was originally like the picture you posted. I have no idea how they cut the center out and did not leave any damage to the felt material. Material looks original, but I might be wrong.

Interesting, if you can trace the grill and send it via a scanned copy would be best, Then I can re design the center piece and with some Autocad help I will 3D print it. I will send you one, if you want to go further the investigation my email is [email protected]

Happy to help. Please let me know if you need more info. I flipped it over to trace it, then flipped it over and lined it up and pressed on it to mark the 4 stud locations. My guess is they are around 1/8" diameter or so studs that stick outward 5/16". I can take the nuts to a hardware store to get the thread info if needed.
