Hi All!

I have searched and did uncover some older threads on this topic but I wanted to pose the question again as it left me confused as to what my options are.

I want to replace the original master cylinder. Here is why:

1) I do not like the older technology of the fluid pipe from reservoir sealing as it does...because it does not. I prefer something with either an attached reservoir or better...remote with a hose that feeds it.

2) I plan to run 4 wheel disc brakes. I have a new front beam to mount, complete with Wilwood disc brake kit.

I have uncovered this one by recommendation - https://ronlummusracing.com/product/wilwood-master-cylinders/ but my concern with this one is the attachment point of the hoses is on the bottom. I do not believe there is enough clearance between the pan and where the master mounts for this....is there?? Anyone run this one?

I also then uncovered this one: https://www.coolairvw.co.uk/product/t1dcmckitl/

Does anyone run this one? Thoughts on it?

Any information and personal experience is appreciated!

As for as the reservoir, i went this route on my 56. Kept the original reservoir in place just to keep it stock looking.
Not my car,pic found in the gallery.
