Headlight and hazard switches installation

Is there a trick to an easier installation of the headlight and hazard switches? It's hard to reach them from behind the dash and line them up with the holes. Hope that makes sense.

Remove the speedometer and/or clock. It'll make access to install and wire the switches super easy
