Come join the MoKan VW Club as they celebrate their 40th Anniversary. The annual Bug Blitz / Bus Blast will be held this year at the Smithville Missouri Town Square.
Registration is now open
Valve cover races, Judged classes. People Choice awards with a swap meet area as well. All VWs are welcomed.
Registration is $20 which includes show T-Shirt.

| How many cars generally attend the show? And how big is the swap meet? It's about a 2.5hour drive for me but it's the closest show I've heard about recently! |

There are usually over 100 cars. Both ACVW and Water have been in attendance. A few 914s and similar are usually seen. Majority are Typ 1 and 2.
Swap meet area is a parking lot with participation varied in my opinion. There are at least a six to seven spots filled each year. Almost entirely ACVW bits to engines.
And also Typ 3s in attendance (mine shown from a few years ago)

In addition to the usual festivities, there will be a raffle for a stock Type 1 longblock. The winner will be announced in the afternoon. Only 200 chances sold at $20/chance.
