The sad part is, most will never see the road and just wind up in rich people's collections.

$225,000 list, wonder what they'll actually sell for.

Dont they make Volvo too??

If i had 250k of escort and blow money I would go fund someone to create a small business employing 10 people. Maybe 2-3 businesses for that coin, in the right place. When you hit 7x, the time for acquiring crap to look at is over.

The problem is on the hood and they circled it 3 times, hard to miss. Ask any new Ford owner how miserable they are with dealer service, recalls, etc.

In NHRA drag racing the Factory Stock Showdown class is becoming very popular. Yes Ford makes this car specifically for drag racing, and they were never intended to see the streets. Go to an NHRA National event and it would shock you how many folks buy a $225.000 cars just to race them. There is a waiting list of race teams to buy them. No they are not just sitting in collector's garages.

8.59 isn't going to win a National event in the Factory Stock Showdown class. They are running well into the 7's.

Are you referring to the COPO Camaros?

I don't think Shelby is building only 30 to be drag race only, these are Halo cars to prove they can do it.

Then there's the Dodge Demon 170.

If I had $250k of escort and blow money I'd buy a '70s Ford van with a fun fur interior and pack it full of well preserved grannies.

In other word ladies contemporary to my van for authenticity.
